I have many favorites but the ones I admire most are Alberto Pinto for his mastery of weaving transcultural aesthetics especially those of the Orient...Egypt, Morocco, Syria and the Ottoman Empire with modern comfort and updated style.
Sherri Donghia for her many contributions to the multiple categories of interior furnishings especially Donghia textiles which I use often in my work. I love her definition of design fusion "the ultimate achievement of creating a true reflection of who you are through your furnishings. It reflects an individual's signature style." I highly recommend obtaining a copy of her book Donghia: The Artistry of Luxury & Style. Her words will inspire and hone anyone's ability to create a more sensual, beautiful environment by simply explaining the purpose and use of form, texture, balance, color, light and how to combine these elements with what you already have in new and unusual ways.
Mariano Fortuny: for making our world a more beautiful place with his many contributions as designer of fabrics, furniture and fashion as well as his vast work as painter, engraver, sculptor, photographer, set designer, lighting engineer and inventor.

That my passion for textiles began while playing dress up in my Grandmother's vast closet full of antique and vintage clothes.
I Love What I Do Because....
I absolutely love combining color, texture, light, form, architecture, personal collections of art and opulent, natural and rustic accessories to create a comfortable environment that reflects the style, spirit and soul of my clients. Our home is our haven and should delight our senses.
Comfortable and casual with an equestrian or Western flair. I love boots of any kind, vintage Ralph Lauren, exotic jewelry....turquoise and silver. Boot cut riding pants by Kerrits are a staple of my wardrobe.
